2/1/14 - Ice Fishing At The Honey Hole
Got out for the day with Vinny. Plenty of ice at 8" to 10". Flags were pretty steady most o the day, although the bite was weird. We both lost big Bass today too. Vin had a 3-1/2lber come unbuttoned at the hole, and I had what had to be atleast a 5lber break off at the hole, Dohhh! At the end of the day Vin had 8 Bass with the biggest being 2-1/4lbs, and a couple Pickerel with one big bellied fatty probably about 2-1/2lbs, and a chunky Yellow Perch. I finished with 4 Pickerel, and 10 Bass with my biggest at 2lbs. Fun day as always, but still would rather it be spring time!
